A Monolith and an Acrobat

After an injury that put him in a wheelchair for a week, Nuno found a motivation to explore his own body, and trained himself to be an acrobat.

Together with artist Ana Bob, he dove into the conceptual spectrum, exploring concepts such as existence, higher states of awareness, and subconsciousness.

The performance consists of an escalating live interaction between the individual (Nuno Bakker) and the monolith (controlled by Ana Bob).

A try-out of the performance took place. It was due to officially premiere in the Grand Theatre, Groningen, on the 25th of June 2020. The premiere never took place however due to the pandemic.
